So I am wanting to get an ultra portable amp (think shadow, arrow, slim, TTVJ) to pair with my iphone 4. I already have iems, so I want my setup to be as small as possible. I am interested in something that matches well, size-wise with the iphone, as I will be making a case to contain both.
 
Also, I am looking into eq apps for the iphone. Are any of them any good?

I own the TTVJ and have tried the Pico in a retail shop. Sonically both are a great match for the iPhone 4.
 
Beware the TTVJ is susceptible to RF interference so I have to set the iPhone to flight mode. I suspect many other amps have the same problem too.

True. I only get interference on mine in non 3G areas.

I have an icube, a p51, and a 2move. Which of these does the TTVJ come closest to sonically? Also, how does the TTVJ match up size wise with the iphone 4?

Never heard the amps you own, but I guess the TTVJ comes closest to the p51, assuming it retains the RSA house sound.
 
Size wise, the iPhone 4 is 1 cm longer but 1 cm narrower than the TTVJ Slim.
