Hey guys,
 
I'm in the market for a new pair of headphones..... I can spend maximum 200 dollars (I can spend a bit more if there is a huge jump in quality.) I listen to mainly hip hop and rock. I want an upgrade from my ATH-M50. What do you recommend?

If you want an upgrade, you'll need to spend more than just $50 more than your previous ones. I would definitely suggest getting Denon D200's for around $250-$350. Prices vary among different places, but make sure you get the real thing, there are fakes of everything on the internet at this point.

I'll look into that. I really like the Ultrasone HFI 2400. What do you think of these? I can get them for a great price.

And if I get the HFI 2400, which has 70 ohm impedance, is it easy to drive with my Mac and my phone with a Fiio E6 amp and a Fiio L9 LOD?

The Fiio E6 will surely drive it but the sound quality might just only slightly improved.
