Hi I only listen to Power, Heavy, Death and Black metal and currently use the E2Gs with my Mp3 player. I was wondering what would be a good upgrade. I want them to be noise isolating cause I normally listen on the way to university on the subway.

I would first try the Kemmer Mod, it makes a huge difference in the sound of the e2c's. They dont sound (so to say) plugged anymore, brings out the mids and makes the sound stage slightly larger.

I have no Idea about what my Budget is. I am a university student in canada so money isn't easy to get but i have 200 $ right now and I want to wait at least 3-4 months before I get anything new and I guess I can save up a bit more by then.
Also where can I find the "Kemmer Mod" that you talked about

Basically you pull out the small plug at the end of the sound tube. Opens up the sound and makes the IEM's more "lively"
