I've got a pair of Monoprice 8320 headphones that the cabling is starting to fail- it's falling off of the earbuds. I really like the earbuds (great bass!), and would think about buying a new pair. But they are so cheap I think I would like to try recabling them with in-line volume controls (and a longer cable, preferably). Any idea on what earbuds might be good for a donor cable? Apple headphones strike me as being the cheapest, but those have a lot of cable noise...
