Didn't know how to search for an answer to this. I am using itunes 7.02 with foobar passthrough. I'm getting a new ipod and want to know how to load the software on the same computer without loosing my passthrough capability.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Not 100% sure, but think this should work:
1. Rename your "iTunes.app", to ex. "iTunes-7.02.app".
2. Download and install the latest iTunes.
3. Move the newly installed iTunes.app (7.7) to a different directory.
4. Rename your "iTunes-7.02.app" to the original "iTunes.app" again.
5. Copy the new iPodUpdater.framework from the 7.7 iTunes.app to the iTunes.app (the 7.02 one). Its located in 'iTunes.app/Contents/Frameworks/iPodUpdater.framework'

The result should be iTunes 7.02 with iPodUpdater.framework from iTunes version 7.7.

NB! Remember to back up before proceeding on the above steps.
