I am looking for a pair of earbuds that are non-isolating and has a mic, similar to the Apple Earpods. And they should be better sounding. I had a pair of Urbanears Medis (https://www.urbanears.com/ue_za_en/medis) that fit the bill, but they finally broke, out of warranty, and discontinued. I looked around Amazon and other "top X earbuds under $Y" pages yielded nothing but earbuds with isolating features (silicone inserts, which I don't want). So are there still good on-ear earbuds of this category? My budget is under $50 but can stretch to $100 if there's something available and well built.

P.S. This pair for me has a specific purpose of doing Skype calls, casually listen to podcasts, musics, and tv shows while on the go, and in situations where I need to be in alert. I already have a pair of higher end Westone IEM, some Grados, and HD6XX (preordered). So this pair is intended for when I don't need to baby or worry about losing.

May abit late, but you can consider the Philips SHE4205 just released this year. The bass on these earbuds are really impressive! Currently going about $25 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Lightweight-Microphone-SHE4205BK-27/dp/B01LWMX7GD
