i was looking for a set of headphones at or under $100; they will be used mainly for dubstep, electronica, hip-hop, rockabilly, and rock. id like them to be a little bass heavy but not completely overpowering. recommendations would be appreciated

Get the Audio Technica ATH-ES55 for $107 new at Amazon, or ATH-ES7 for around $99 used at Amazon for more earcup space. The es7s are discontinued, but still really good cans for your genres.
