there's a few pouches that looks like they'd do the job in the ZX1 thread... Anak Chan is the best to ask, I need to ask him a question so I'll do it in the ZX1 thread.

At the end I ended up getting a camcorder pouch, nothing fancy but allows both the amp and the player to sit confortably... or at least I suppose so.

And god... the PHA-2 really punches some awesome quality, it's a bit bright as some people have mentioned, but that, combined with the fact that the XBA-H3 are quite dark mixes itself perfectly. It is quite a joy to hear since the bass is more defined, slightly noticeable compared to a bareboness F886, however the sound, after some EQ, has quite the same signature.

I'm all amps that can connect to a lot of devices from here onwards. amazing.

Got my walkman on monday. been using it with LOD to the fiio E6. W/o the amp, the walkman sounds pristine and clean with the precisely timed bass. With the amp, it sounds like I'm sitting in a hall listening to it (not the surround sound type but the soundstage). it's simply my best purchase of the year.

question though, i've tried load .dff (DSD) files into it but the stock player doesn't recognise it. i thought this player is DSD capable?

Considering getting one of these, but I'm wondering if the sound is as good as the s:flo2.  Anyone have experience of both players?  The s:flo2 has serious amplification, and I'm just concerned this Sony player won't quite get to the level of the s:flo2.  What is this Sony players amplication like?  I don't tend to use hard to drive headphones (I tend to use either a set of IEMS, some Audio Technica ATH-ES55, and very occasionally some Sennheiser HD25-1) and I prefer not to have to use external amps.

I'm sure it will be better on pretty much every other level though...

I thought the ZX1 had a headphone amplifier - inside that bulge on the back?

I don't think the F886/7 has one which is making me wonder if it will sound as good, on its own, as the s:flo2.

According to the specs, the F880 has 10mw power per channel and the ZX1 has 15mw.

Here are some photos of my portable rig, because I have never feel so good and so proud of having such audio quality at the palm of my hand:
