Hi all,
I have an Oppo HA-1 and am looking to get a tube amp as a headamp separate from the HA1. I have HD600’s (w/ CH 650s) but may upgrade to HD800’s relatively soon. I mainly run CD audio from a BDP-105 and also 24-bit PCM and DSD from my PC via USB. I will be running balanced out from the HA-1 to the WA22 or Mjolnir 2.
Is there a significant difference between these two amps? I had a Lyr for a while and was very pleased, though that amp doesn’t have balanced inputs. I mainly listen to chamber and orchestral music, probably 80% CD and 20% high res (24-bit PCM and DSD). Any recommendations and opinions are welcome!
