Hello,
I do really like my VSonic VSD3. I have gone thru 2 of them due to cable connectivity loss at the earphone. I like the bass response both deep and has some thump, and has crystal highs. I used to like the Sennheiser IE8 also but lost them. I am playing of an iphone Bluetooth to SoundBlaster E5. No sound enhancement at the moment.
I thought I'd try a new inexpensive one, and got the TRN V90. But the bass seems just loose, and doesn't hit hard at all, and not that loud. I am limited in volume b/c the sound is very sibilant to me with the V90. I have substituted the ear tips with Comply (L) from my Vsonic,which fit really tight but seems to work out.
Any suggestions if I should try a better cable with the V90. Would that help much?
Also, any suggestion for an IEM that has:
1) ear hook type
2)heavy bass response and thump
3) crystal highs
4) good instrument separation
Is it possible for under $300, and also one suggestion of lesser quality in the chi-fi field around $50?
