The VSonics has more treble quantity compared to either the M1 or M5. M1s are the odd one out, less impact and texture overall. M5s are a tad more forward in the mids, but still like the GR02s better for clarity. The M5s can get sluggish at times and the GR02s really hit fast despite their rather large mid-bass impact. .
