Looks like a very innovative product for sure... but probably not up to our hi-fi standards
Here's an ars technica article about it, I guess it will be retailing for about $80 USD:
http://arstechnica.com/journals/appl...one-conduction
Anyone want to take the plunge and test it
Also, does anyone know how bone conduction works? I know that sound can't be translated directly to your brain without the help of your eardrum, cochlea and all that equipment... so does bone conduction just bypass the eardrum somehow?
Edit:
Wikipedia has some info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone_conduction
