Question for the experts, my volume buttons are broken on my uber-beaten karma. I'm not going to open the case up for a while as I'm terribly lazy. I do use MX-500s, which come with a volume slider. Sometimes I feel like the volume is going down unequally on the channels when I use it. I swore once while listening to the Hives that when I put down the volume (it had to go down a lot to maintain my hearing) that the left channel disappeared. Does using the volume slider (I guess it must be a mini-resistor or something) affect the audio quality? I don't care too much as I use the karma during my commute and for listening while working and working out, none of which demands pristine quality. Just want to know.
