Hi, I've noticed that the volume of my left speaker of my AKG K3003i is lower than the right one. May this be due to the inline remote (placed on the right ear cable)?

If so, is this a common thing among IEM's to look out for?

This tends to happen with AKG products. When I first got my K545, it was defective out of the box and I had the same problem as you. If you contact AKG, they are usually pretty flexible with returns.

Aww! they are 2 years old now, so I don't know if they'd be flexible anymore.

I did quite a few google searches on this issue but could't find any info about this issue so I don't know is this a common thing with most inears, is it with other brands as well?

AKG products are usually defective out of the box. If they're two years old, I won't be a help.
