Are there any audible differences between the chinese $15 Alps stepped attenuator vs DACT CT2 vs TKD 40 step? I thought about just going crazy and getting the TKD, but it's too damn expensive! Then I thought about getting that cheap Alps one and switching out the resistors to Vishays . Then I came across the DACT CT2 which I believe is around $140? Would this be worth the money? I was advised I probably wouldn't be able to tell any difference. I would like some reassurance, thanks.
