So I got a ODAC a few days ago but if i plug it in and I set the volume on the laptop on max it's so loud I can properly use the amp (Phillips FA 931 - its capable of driving 1000 ohms), even if I use mute (20 db decrease) I cant go further than half past 8 is there a way to fix this without using the standard volume control of the laptop? (as I heard it isn't good for the sound quality if you use that volume control) or doesn't it matter?
