Hi, I just bought a Heed Canamp on the Sale forum and will take it with me to Europe. I am looking for a voltage converter (loooking at dvdoverseas.com) .

Does anyone know how many watts I need to get. They offer 100 to 1000 or more. I am a total noob with conversion so any help would be uh...helpful!

Thanks!
Brian

Technical specifications
Input sensitivity/impedance: 200 mV/10 kOhm
Power output: 300 mW (100 Ohm)
Signal-to-noise ratio (unweighted): 85 dB
Distortion (THD, 1 kHz, 100mW): <0,05%
Frequency range: 10 Hz-50 kHz (±0,5 dB)

Speced from HEED site

#1 check if you even need a voltage converter at all. Lots of power supplies can operate on US and european voltages: I'm on a vacation to europe and took my D1 with me just fine. Check the power supply you have to see if it can take an input voltage from 100-240V and can handle 50 and 60 hz lines.

#2 If you do need a step-down transformer, it's extremely unlikely you need more than a couple watts--100 watts is overkill for a headphone amp. Notice the amp max is only 300 mW, or .3 watts. You can get away a 10 watt transformer for sure.

Hope this helps!
