***NEVER MIND*** I FOUND THE THREAD THAT ANSWERED MY QUESTION****
I have living blissfully with my USB DAC and my SPDIF DAC until I started frequenting Head-Fi. NOW I am confused about the ASIO drivers to eliminate the sound mixer. But I also see where VISTA does not need the ASIO drivers? I have searched the threads but I am unable to conclusively find a definitive answer. I do want perfection of course.
