Yeah, LA's got a serious case of the uglies. The last few days, driving past downtown on the 10 freeway, I could see the buildings off to the north clearly and I was simply astounded. What a drop of rain will do...

It's so funny, I was born here, but I feel like I belong in Seattle. I visited there a few years ago expecting rain.... eight days of sapphire blue skies and the cleanest air I have ever breathed. I was looking forward to the rain though
