I've heard many great things about customer care from Violectric/Lake people, the previous owner of the amp also told me that Fried, the CEO, is very responsive. Hopefully I won't ever need it, but it is reassuring to hear thatI guess, warranty or not, Violectric would be willing to fix it. Both countries are in the EU, so it would not be complicated nor expensive to ship.

Violectric V200 still worth it in 2023?

The output setting on the RCA is very interesting to me, as I also have a det of speakers in my setup, so an output to the amplifier would be perfect. I only learned of this feature going through the manual for the V200 after I bought it.V200 has some cool features I never was able to try. It can be upgraded to accept USB input via a DAC board which can be ordered. It also has switchable input/output RCA sockets if I remember correctly. Not to forget those gain settings. A very cool little amp. Violectric rules.
Exactly like me, incredible feature I would say at this price range. V200 offers so much. I had it and sold it only because I was not using it, but I could not find it a fault. Let us know your experience with the RCA outputs.
@jonathan c Do you use the V200 with specific headphones, and the Woo Audio with other ones? Or does it depend on what you are in the mood for at the given time?
I think my next project is getting a tube amp, to try something different. Never really tried tubes amps much, and it would be fun to compare to the V200 and SMSL I already have.

Woo WA3 next to Violectric V200 is OTL (output transformer-less), has an output impedance of ~120 ohms, is used for higher impedance headphones: Beyer DT880-600, Sennheiser HD-6##, ZMF dynamic drivers. Choice is always based on mood !!@jonathan c Do you use the V200 with specific headphones, and the Woo Audio with other ones? Or does it depend on what you are in the mood for at the given time?

Are there any cheaper Tube amplifiers that could work with the HE1000, or is tube amps that are suitable for lower impedance headphones more expensive?
Want to dip my toes into tubes, but gotta relax a bit in spending more at this point

I was going to return my G111 MK2 back to B&H and then upgrade to the V202, but then someone offered me a V200 this week for $400. I figured it would be better to keep my G111 and get V200 which has a different sound signature.
My question is how comparable is the V200 in sound to the new V202?
