How do these babies perform in terms of quality, durability, clarity etc...
any of you have tried these? thanks

Verbatim discs are generally well regarded.  I would guess the 'vinyl' gimmick is purely cosmetic.  Their reliability should be the same as all of Verbatim's products.

Funny thing is 45 RPM records were for the most part made of polycarbonate, Just like CDs. Only larger 12" 45 RPM discs were vinyl. These were used as specialty releases that were higher grade than 12" LPs. Standard 7" 45RPM discs were lower grade than LP.

I use those vermatims, for music only, and only because its easier to keep track of the music I have burned (for the car). So far I have not had any problems with them, except for a for skips on one disk, but that can be attributed to road conditions, the weather (0F), or the fact that the cd player is brand new. I use verbatim disks for everything else, and will continue using them until i run across a problem.
