These are old but they have a decent sound however everything below 200hz disappears. they could be fatiguing if you didn't start wondering where the lower frequencies went. they also seem to have a rather large midrange bump around 1.5-2khz which could be called harsh but it can be leveled out with an EQ. highs are crisp but not too sharp. All in all not too bad for $15 but not up to today's standards. These are definitely from before they discovered Bass.

well After looking at these for a while I figured out what was wrong the headband detent springs were not holding it tight a quick adjustment they fit better and the sound was totally different. Still weak on the bottom end but much improved silky smooth from mid bass to treble all the harshness was gone and the detail came to the front. I really like these now they are definitely worth the $15 I spent.
