Hi all, ive always been interested in Stax earspeakers for being electrostatic but could never justify the cost with their proprietary amping.  Now i've heard that electrostatic headphones hold up over time very well and older models can be had pretty inexpensively.
If my first focus was on gaming which older or inexpensive models should i be combing the web for? surely so older Lambda models but ive heard things thrown around like "have to make sure it's made after the Nova model's" etc.  Anybody care to educate me on what to look for in older Stax speakers and their amps? thank you so much!
