Is there really no software video player that supports ASIO or WASAPI? It annoys the crap out of me that every time I put on a music DVD or whatever, Vista automatically upsamples it to 192khz. Anyone know of a way that allows for bit perfect output?

I might be wrong here but i think winamp will play back dvd's etc and theres an asio plugin for that

alternatively use media player (not the windows one) and set it up to use a 3rd party dll for video e.g. powerdvd and feed the audio to a bit perfect audio filter.
