I somehow managed to start winamp and foobar playing the same song at the same time. I played with them both a bit, and I got them playing at the same time, with a very small fraction of a second between them. It sounds quite odd, and kinda cool!

More like a delay effect being dropped over the immediate output of one's instrument. For the non-musicians out there, it's like watching tv in your room, and hearing the same channel on down the hallway. It's there and mostly the same, but coming in a bit behind your primary source.

Either that or it sounds like a bunch kindergardeners really effing up a round.
