I have a pair and are enjoying them as well.
very detailed in the high end.. but not so much in the mid range.

I wouldn't imagine they sound as good as the new version, but from what I've read... they are a steal at their price point. They can easily be gotten for less than $100

Well, if you can deal with EVERYBODY hearing your music and the eminent deafness, I can't imagine how great the soundstage would be.
