I have a FiiO X7 with AM3 and AM5 module (higher output), an Oppo HA-2 amp, VE Runabout 2.0 amp and a newly aquired Brocksieper Earmax Pro tubeamp.
 
They all give my Zen 2.0 black Cardas power, but to my ears only the VE RA 2.0 make them sing. They are made for each other.

Upgrade to RA 2 Balanced and it will take Black zen to a different level
Yes, you have to send Black Zen back to Lee to reterminate into 4 Pin XLR !

I received the Zen 2 yesterday and I am mighty impressed with its soundstage and mids.. The Zen came with 4.4mm balanced plug.. Its lacking bass for my taste, so which earbud would have the soundstage and mids as Zen but with bass?
