First, I know their are existing threads, but they are mostly about comfort, and not sound. Anyways...
So a lot of the time I see people here talking about how they replaced their stock leather or pleather headphones pads with velour pads, and then stated the sound got "better" (more often than not).
My question is, exactly what difference does it make to the sound if you use velour pads or (p)leather pads? And additionally, is there also a difference in sound for real leather pads, versus pleather ones?
