So I have missed my Sony MDRZX 300 headphones. I currently am using the sockophone mod, have half of the bass vents popped on each side, and about 1 1/2 cottons balls, pulled apart, in each cup behind the drivers.
So, the sockophone mod is OK, but the sound quality, especially for the lower end, is decreased. However, my bass vent mods help restore that.
Also, these get uncomfortable after about a hours use. I believe this is the straps fault.
So my question is, should I get a pair of velour pads for these, or by something like the Koss PortaPro?
