OK, I need a sub to go along with my A5's and would like to keep it under $200.
Looking at the Velodyne VX-10 or the Dayton ES8 Elite Series. This will be for CPU audio. I don't game but I watch a movie every so often on it.

Also, what will be the best way to hook it up. A soundcard or a Fubar II usb?

Right now I have them hooked up to my mobo audio with a 3.5 to 3.5 connector. I really don't notice much a difference from this vs them hooked up to my marantz cdp.

Seriously consider the Definitive technology Pro Sub 100(newer ones are the prosub1000)
