Yep. I'm rustling up sponsors and getting places...

How's the first weekend of Nov sound to everyone?

Well, the meet is *tentatively* being hosted at a lab (Zoology? Forget which, need to check again) at UBC.

So we can go monkey-party-wild.

Anyone got any suggestions for any meeting places? The community centers in Vancouver are still closed, and the original place has been ruled out as a possible site.

Maybe in Richmond?

But UBC is far from pretty much anyone that doesn't live in UBC. Richmond seems like a good location, it's easy to access from anywhere and is pretty central considering we'll be having people from the south side of the fraser as well. Getting to UBC from say Surrey is a huge pain.

Richmond seems good to me. Not that I'm biased or anything working there :p.

UBC meet plan has been cancelled, as the room is booked before I got to it.

I'm trying to find an alternative location - rooms in either a Richmond or Vancouver Community Center.

Community centers should be open soon.

I'll be bringing some custom made grado leather headbands.

Roastpuff,

There are many rooms available at UBC! Have you tried the Forest Science Center? The study rooms in the atrium there would work. You should be able to book the main meeting room upstairs in the SUB as well! Then there are all the conference rooms at the SUB...

Just some suggestions!
