I was wondering if you know van Velzen en what you think of his music.

Kleine man, kleine daden. I get a 'randstad' feeling when I listen to his music. I don't like the 'randstad'.

That sounds kinda weird, but that's allright if you feel that.
He isn't well known outside of the Netherlands, is he?

I don't think he is, no. And yeah, whenever I hear Velzen on the radio it feels like I am listening to someone who is representing the Randstad. Why? Maybe because of his childish English and songs. The Randstad seems to like the English language a lot so he 'fits in'. Don't know. I am not a fan, that is for sure.
