I'm looking at these two to matchup with some 6XX headphones. My DAC is a Topping D90 and I have a Lokius too. I was planning on putting either in between the Lokius and my KEF LS50 Wireless. Will this work as a clean pass through when I want to listen through the KEFs?

Just beware that there is no pre-out on the Liquid Platinum (LP). So scratch this one out for your KEFs. It is whether Lokius or your D90.

LP is very clean and powerful with these Sennheisers, so there is not much granularity in the volume knob. I use an attenuator, for instance, although your Lokius could do similar job.

As far as Valhalla 2 goes, I am waiting for the 3rd version, although it is tempting at the current "last call price". I am just curious how the new version is going to be.
