So the Vintage Audio Labs (valab) DAC seems to be picking up some steam in the Source forums no doubt due to its low price. Unlike their DAC however, their headphone amp offering is priced at USD$1000 ! So anyone want to give it a go?

Have bought from VALAB in the past, and their products, from interconnects to hifi gear, are excellent. I think the headphone amp will follow in that tradition, but it's expensive and in competition with some great amps. The looks don't help: aesthetically it's a mess, a real dog.

There's a lot going on there, but I think it look really cool. I wonder what the internals look like?
