I couldn't find anywhere the specs of the output power (headphones output) of the VAIO pocket.
Does anybody know ?

Hey XP98

I dont know the data you ask but with my Shure E3c earphones, i put the volume to the half (one under half, right seal). This is enough for me and i think this will be enough for you too!!!

With my old Sony MDR 71 earphones i put the volume three under full volume!!! This was bad for the battery drain!!!

Bad English, I know!!!!!

Hi Marco

Have you tried to drive a Hifi-headphone, or at least a headphone with higher impedance, with the VIAO's headphone output ?

Hi

With hifi headphones (my Sennheiser 570 / 120 Ohm) you need an amp. The sound is rather quiet without an amp (same Problem with Irriver H320).

I too have this unit and the sound is definitely quiet. Tried e3c and they were definitely louder. Unfortunately, I hate canal phones so I'm stuck with quiet. Even the HD1/3 was louder than this thing. Not sure of the specs though.

most probably because the hd1/hd3 is replacing the vaio pocket

Why do think so ?
