I am new to vacuum tubes as they relate to amplifiers. Which countries make tubes that are also commonly and rarely available here in the U.S.? For example; I have heard of Russian made tubes being available here in the U.S. However I don't know if they use pieces parts (components) to make the tube gathered from around the world and it's final assembly is in the Russia or if its all parts are sourced within Russia and also made in Russia and is truly a Russian tube throughout or not.

Thank you

US, Western Europe audio tube manufacture basically died out - a few specialty RF power tube lines have been kept alive - only a few small manufacturers started up to supply the audio replacement market

USSR, the East, China used tubes in electronics much longer and with rising trade with the West discovered the audiophile market for audio tubes and now make popular audio tube type numbers
