This is a frivolous little survey, but how many people take off those red stickers off the cans? And how many leave them on because you like the way they look?

My first pair I immediately pealed off the stickers and nail polish removed the "studio monitor" lettering on the top of the band.

I peeled the stickers off of mine. I left "Studio Monitor" alone.

my girlfriend took off the stickers, she said it looked cheap, however I found it to look okay

but yea... I removed the studio monitor lettering, and the stickers, and have the beyer dynamic pads on them

so it looks like very high class cans now

I know that it is fairly common for members of this board to remove the red stickers. Prior to ordering my V6's the thought crossed my mind that I would probably end up removing them. Well, when they showed up at my door I noticed that one of the red stickers was stuck on very crooked...suffice to say, they're both floating around in my garbage can somewhere.

Due to all the hype about the V6, I decided to put in an order for a set last week. Well, I just recieved it when I went home for lunch today. Hogwild did a great job packaging it; and I must say the construction of the V6 felt very rugged.
Second thing I noticed was how much smaller the cups are compared to my HD600. And the sound, almost immediately, was very dissappointing. But after approximately half an hour of listening, I acclimated to it. Still, I'm not sure what the rave is all about. Although I'm impressed with it's construction. Maybe it'll sound better after break in. In anycase, it be used with a portable so I'm not going to worry about it too much.

Oh, and the stickers are still on :-)

The first thing i noticed being *tacky* about the v6's was the "studio monitor" on the headband. The second thing was the red stickers.

If i get some, i'm definetely removing them.

Also, to anyone who lives in Canada and bought the v6's online, have you recieved any hidden taxes or charges yet?

You know what's worse? I don't even have a studio to monitor!!
I feel like such a poser.

BTW, the headphones sound much better now the stickers and the studio monitor letters are gone. Must be a hallucination caused by the thinner.
