I have a pair of V-Moda M-80s for use at work. I love their sound and styling and they are very comfortable. For about an hour. After that I develop soreness in the back of my ears just above the lobes. I have read a lot the the new XS increase the comfort of the phones. Would the XS alleviate the soreness issue?

I am new to the world of headphones. The only other ones I currently have of note are the ATH-M50s. Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated.
