V-Moda's vibe features very adequate isolation. Earphone Solutions had them to me in a couple days and yesterday I had just enough time to wear them for about 2 hours after work.

Observations:

1. At first I was pushing the silicone fittings too far into the ear canal. Experimenting with placement yeilded dramatic changes in bass frequency.
2. the cables seem very well made and easily wrap around ("over" from back) in front of the ear. They are long enough without having excessive cable getting in the way.
3. I found that listening to solo instruments e.g. piano and guitar more pleasant as the sounds were more distinct (better imaging). All the music I was able to play seemed to point out the studio "compensation" for newer, louder music. i.e. that which was crafted for the ipod audiance.

I appreciate the reviews given earlier prompting me to get my hands on these. Another best buy seems to be in the offering. It is great to see such quality at this price point.
