I just picked up my vmoda m100's and there is no bass. Not even the slightest shake and its not even that loud. I plugged it all the way in but nothing. Could it be a defective item?

Sorry if its a bad reference but ive tried Sony Pulse Elite, Sony Mdr Extra Bass Bluetooth.

I find that my XB950BT with the the bass boost on out-thumps my M100's even if I attempt to EQ for more bass and bass boost them on a fiio e12. At least they do to my ears.
