V-Moda M-100 Lack Kevlar in Between Ear Cups?

Do the v-moda m-100's lack kevlar for the two wires that between the left and right earcups? or do they have them?
 
If they left them out, they should have really put them in or at least than not have exposed the wires outside the headphones.

It looks like it from what I've seen in pictures. Same sleeve type from what it looks like. But I wouldn't worry to much, they've done the same thing w/ the the HD25 1-ii/Amperior and the mdr-v6. The hd25 and v6 are renown for lasting a good 1-2 decades/being tanks even though they don't have kevlar.
