Dear head-fi users,
I was wondering if you guys had an opinion on the v-moda crossfade lp and the lp2.

Well I had the Crossfade LP2's for 8 months before they got stolen and I can tell you this these headphones sound amazing. I believe that the highs are recessed because I could listen to music on maximum volume with a crazy headache and not feel any pain with them on. But the highs are still very good. I'm no expert though, and I should be getting the ATH-M50's soon along with the LP's as replacements and I will provide my thoughts on those two after a good 24-48 hours of burn in.

Never tried LP2 but LP1. The mids qre paintfully recessed to me. Kind of like v-shape sound signature. It too has better details & soundstage than ATH-M50 other than that, I think both have similar sound...
