I got mine in the mail a few weeks ago. Anyone else had a chance to try them yet? They're designed to be audiophile headphones wired, and then Bluetooth with Aptx added afterward just for convenience. I almost always listen wired so I can use my dac/amp, but it's nice to have Aptx Bluetooth too.
They're a bit heavy on bass, but not as much as previous V-Moda headphones. I've been a V-Moda fan ever since the m-100's and I can easily say the Crossfade 2 Wireless are their best headphones yet and possibly my number 1 favorite. The sound is much more balanced and audiophile friendly than their previous models, if you use them wired. Not bad for only $350 (for the rose gold Aptx model)
Anyway I want to know your thoughts!
Do you know of any good dac/amp combos that fit well with these? I'm using Fiio e17k Alpen 2 dac/amp combo right now, but I might switch to the Dragonfly Black for dac combined with another amp in the $100-150 range.
