Man, that OSU team is an impressive looking outfit. They controlled that game. Troy Smith had way too much time all game. I thought Texas would at least get more pressure and make it a tighter. Allow that cat to stand tall and he'll pick you apart. O State picking up Blitzes very well had a LITTLE to do with it.

It's a shame that the game was so early 'cause both clubs are going to get better. For a RS Fros, ol' Colt McCoy has the goods. Texas fans should feel good about him.

Next week, my fave team is Nebraska! Early Christmas if the two bandwagon U's lose in the first three weeks.

LOL, well USC might have out consecutive national title streak broken, but they haven't lost at the Coliseum since Carroll's first season. I see no reason it should happen now. Nebraska wasted a couple of low-grade cupcakes at home, whereas USC blew an SEC team out for revenge right off their home field. The real question this season will be those damned Leper-cons

And to think, I was going to remark about how nicely the Sooners disposed of those pesky Huskies

FWIW I'm on your side come Oct.7.

See, I was kinda hoping it would go like this:

UT beats OSU
USC loses next week
Texas Tech beats UT later in the season.
Boogie.

But oh well. I guess we'll just have to see now. Honestly, I think a good part of the reason this game went the way it did was for lack of Vince Young.

Damn, I have to see the resurrection of the multitudes of band wagon OSU fans. I truly hope someone knocks off OSU.

Texas should only have scored 3 pts, the lone touchdown was a gift from referees on a very questionable personal foul tackling the Texas QB, very clean play IMO no foul there.............

The continued development of OT Smith is really something to see, also as he freely admits offensive line gives him all the time in the world and rarely is he sacked or hurried. Good balanced play calling by OSU coaches.

The final drive before halftime showed Ohio State was aggressive and in command, and the audible by OT Smith to throw TD pass to Ginn again shows his impressive QB development.

Bandwagon OSU fans? Is there such a thing? I reckon most OSU fans were born Buckeyes and will die Buckeyes!

I'm going to miss this mini-series with Texas. If anyone shares Ohio's passion for football, it would have to be Texans.

Yep, Nebraska has a bun's chance at Taco Bell in that one. SC looks good. Doesn't mean I have to root for 'em or like 'em. Heck, I would mind is SC spanked them. Bill Callahn is not a class act, and has worked to soil the Nebraska/Oklahoma rivalry. Still a Cornhusker win would be mighty sweet!

Hey, that team was tough!

I like how the Sooners have fallen a notch. It's safe to be a hard core crazy fan again. My Sooner sig would still be there whether 2-0 or 0-2. It was 1-3 for a whle last year. That did suck.

Let's face it Trojan, it's not real hard to be a USC fan right now. Just ask the kid who works at my local Starbucks, doesn't really follow football, but does love his Trojans.

So to the real Trojan Fans (degree, family, attended games when young, can tell me how many Rose Bowls Larry Smith won) enjoy the run. It's always nice when your school is winning a ton of games.

But to those darn' tootin' bandwagoners, who suddenly have been life long Trojan fans. I hope your team loses loses loses LOSES till it can't lose anymore!
