It might take some time, but with USPS you're far more likely to receive the package in one piece. I don't even want to guess how many times I've received packages from UPS that were smashed, torn, or had a large hole gouged in the side.
Also, UPS won't honor their insurance after they drop a clearly damaged package off at your door without ringing the doorbell and forge your signature.
