Trying to get my x5 to work in my car using usb port. It says can't read or nothing is connected. It works with line out but I prefer usb so I can use cars controls. I am using the mini usb to standard usb connector supplied with x5.

Thank you in advance,
Joe

Hello Joe,

If you select Storage USB mode (System Settings->USB mode) instead of DAC mode, it may work. Although if your car's head unit doesn't support reading more than one USB drive at a time it may not work.

Hope that helps,
Joe
