Just wanted to know if any of you guys are using this type of setup. I have the MS-2s and wanted to know if it would be any help to get the sr-71 even though my source(computer/ipod) is somewhat limited or weak in terms of sound quality. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I currently have ms-2s, sr-71, and even though i use it more now with my jolida, i do use it pretty frequently with an ipod through lineout. The sr-71 doesn't perform magic by making your source sound better than what it is, however, what it does do well is give you a very black background with great bass and a wonderful sound that really makes music pop out so much more, regardless of the source. Not only is it portable, but it can act as a home rig amp as well, it really something else. I went for the sr-71 with my ipod and d-25s because i wanted the best in portability but would also be great if i scaled upwards in terms of source
