I'm looking to buy some Senn HD650's as unfortunately I seem to have acquired the head-fi upgrade bug and I think they'll marry together and improve upon the specific qualities I like from my HD595's and HD485's.

At the moment, though, I could only realistically drive them from my Yamaha DSP-A1 HT amp, as it would be too much to ask of my 5G Ipod. Having researched a bit here I'm seriously considering either X-Can V3 or one of those Millet Hybrids....i think the HD595's would benefit from either of them too.

Anyway, I'm really just looking for some confirmation that I'm on the right track, as it'll be quite an outlay for me. Will either of the 2 dedicated amps I mention be a big improvement on the DSP-A1?
