Im using my littledot MKIII mainly as a preamp into my integrated. I've had great success rolling the drivers, the Mullard EF92, EF91 families being my favorite so far. Is there any point to rolling the power tubes?

Thanks for you input

Not really......the only real upgrade if you want to stick with the 6N6P tube is to get the Novosibirsk made mil spec variant 6N6P-I 's or go to 6H30Pi (Sovtek,EH Gold pins or the NOS DR's). The later tubes are not cheap and you may need to mod your amp to accept them (change a grid resistor from 68 ohm to 121 ohm/3 W per power tube) to run the 6H30's.

Ask David if the current MK III's can run 6H30P's as LD may have changed the design a little from last year.

Peete.
