Hi all, I'm currently connection my ADAMS through to the motherboard's output line (yes, definitely not great, but I do not listen to lossless).
I'm not sure a great soundcard is required given my rig and purposes:
1) VERY rarely use headphones with it
2) Music/movies pretty much always on if I'm home (I encode in V2 VBR with LAME)
So I figured I could use my E17 as a soundcard substitute, and just go the L7 'dock' to go through it. So it'd be USB -> Line-out on E7 -> ADAMs
Is this even worth it, or would an actual soundcard much improve my sound?
The one downside of this I can see is that I'd need to change my output source in order to mute the PC when using headphones
Thanks!
